Conventional management says that Aero and Auto require separate competencies. In OEM maybe but thats another debate for later. In Tier 1 and 2 supply chain I believe that both sectors can share the same high competencies and management. If you ask Rolls Royce how many guys are from Auto in their structure you will see high numbers. Historically Aero decided to utilise Auto Buying skills years ago. But can you make in one facility components and tools that serve both markets?
