Tears of joy for funds raised in Coventry

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016 CSR

We are proud to announce that we have donated funds to SCOPE, a charity that provides support, information and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled people and their families every year.  Our choice to support SCOPE is strongly supported by our inclusive approach to workplace equality; we employ over 360 people of which 55% are registered disabled.

Arlington Automotive is passionate about ‘supply chain integration’ representing not only the reduction in supply chain for our customers but also integrating our workforce regardless of physical or mental ability.

We raised a total of £1,500 by selling our old mobile phones at our Coventry facility. The cheque has been handed by our Group CEO, Mark Franckel to Sue Shenton, Manager of SCOPE at Coventry. Mark says:

“Seeing tears of joy as a reaction to our modest donation is more than I would have wished for. We continue to support the sense of giving something back to communities we live and work in. I would like to personally thank to all our employees who have taken part in this project. It’s our priority to make a difference and inspire to develop potential of every individual.”
