Arlington Aerospace is lifting its competitive advantages higher!

North West Precision Limited, a Birkenhead based business recognised for its 30 years’ experience in aircraft components, cutting tools and fasteners, recently (June 2016) acquired by Arlington Aerospace, a well-known division of global supply chain integrator, Arlington Industries Group, is pleased to welcome on board EDV UK Limited. 

EDV’s acquisition by North West Precision Limited has been completed in the first week of July. 

This located in the heart of Sheffield precision rotary tooling manufacturer, providing second to none tooling solutions to its wide portfolio of clients within aerospace, automotive, medical, oil and gas industry, has a vast array of services to offer, to name a few: endmills, drills, reamers, special custom tooling, brazed carbide, HSS, boring and fine reaming heads, fast regrinding and re-servicing of all tooling types.

Miles Tudor, Head of Business of NWP, outlines the main reasons of buying EDV UK:

  • Increase the existing customer base

  • On-line catalogue offer

  • Enrich the re-grinding and re-servicing support

  • Offer specialist cutting tools for stacks (Titanium, Aluminium, Composite) 

  • Cutting tools design centre

  • Increase sales for PCD and carbide countersinks.
